E-Commerce & Marketing Manager | part-time/full-time | Newbridge
Over the last 2 years, we have been growing our online presence alongside our own stores. The time has come to explore this new role for our business.
The Role : The E-commerce manager’s role will be to oversee the company’s online sales and presence. They will be responsible for conveying a consistent brand image that attracts customers by encouraging sales on the Web. They will be responsible for growing domestic and international targeted sales through the website. They will liaise with the software developer in keeping the look of the site as well as the technology current. The E-commerce manager will be responsible for all online activities. This includes organizing promotions, working with shipping companies to reduce transportation costs and working with the managing director on making advertising decisions. Ongoing web maintenance, troubleshooting & keeping the website updated for new mobile and computer notebooks will be important. Initially, the E-commerce manager will be a one person team, working closely with the website developer, the design team & the retail team. They will be responsible for managing the site content, cut out imagery, writing & loading product files, ensuring that every product has detailed stylist’s notes etc, stock control on the system. The E-commerce manager will be responsible for all online activities. This includes organizing promotions, working with shipping companies to reduce transportation costs and making advertising decisions. Organising and scheduling daily Social media activity will also form part of this role, with the manager being responsible for ensuring that all customers are responded to without delay.
The Person : As well as having the necessary technical skills for generating online sales, the e-commerce manager will have skills & a qualification related to business marketing or internet marketing. The basics of graphic design and web design will be very useful to this role. It is also helpful to have experience in advertising design as with many other companies, we may explore the possibility of promoting our products on other sites. Photography & photoshop skills would be a huge advantage to this role as the manager will be responsible for creating product files. A strong understanding of Web analytic software is also required.
While there will be a lot of responsibility attached to this role, as this is a new role, we are open to the possibility of a part-time position for an ideal candidate who may be completing their college degree in a related subject, with a view to it becoming a full time position as the needs of the business dictate.

Sample Machinist | Part-time seasonal | Newbridge
The Role: Sewing & perfecting prototypes in a timely manner. These samples will be copied exactly by our factory so the standard of work required is very high. This is not a dressmaking role and the successful candidate will have a wide range of skills and will be experienced in working on industrial machinery. This is a demanding role but for the right person the reward is the excitement of being involved in creating original designs and the satisfaction of seeing perfect samples hanging on a rail.
The Person: Must be experienced. Factory experience would be an advantage. The person will have an understanding of commercial viability and an awareness of the importance of speed combined with confidence & accuracy being an essential part of the design & sampling environment which can be very fast moving. This is a flexible role which may suit somebody who juggles home life responsibilities.
