Our passion story of the Ss18 season
Hand frayed linens ….. a labour of love …. to be treasured for many years xxx
Something else that we are also passionate about is sustainability. It is in our dna to design pieces that you will have for many years, adding to your wardrobe over time rather than casting pieces aside. We are extending this to consciously choosing where possible fabrics which come from mills who are also aligning with sustainable practises, be it through renewable raw materials, clean energy or recycling.
Our linen originates from a 100% wind powered mill in Belgium. Did you know that linen comes from the flax which requires no irrigation and is 100% bio-degradable. Every part of the plant is used from the seeds (flax seeds and linseed oil) to the more wooden fibres which cannot be used for fabrics but which are used in making bank notes & insulation!
Asymmetrical Pinny is a hit!
We couldn’t know how popular this pinny would be. So easy to wear and such a flattering cut… everybody who tries it on has to have one!
Jersey & Tulle
A classic example of how to take some of our pieces and combine them for an occasion.
The navy double layer wrap top works just as well with jeans. The tulle skirt, is one of those really useful pieces which can transform several outfits. The lace hem leggings, we did them for 1 season and we just have to keep repeating them as they are so popular and so useful as a very feminine base layer for building a range of different outfits.
